The Ultimate Fighter 2 finale

By Administrator | November 2, 2005

With The Ultimate Fighter’s Season 2 finalists now determined, the entire card for November 5th’s finale on Spike TV has now been announced. Full Fight Card….

Main Event - Welterweights - Diego Sanchez vs Nick Diaz
The Ultimate Fighter Season 2 Heavyweight Final - Rashad Evans vs Brad Imes
The Ultimate Fighter Season 2 Welterweight Final - Luke Cummo vs Joe Stevenson
Welterweights - Kenny Florian vs Kit Cope
Heavyweights - Keith Jardine vs Kerry Schall
Welterweights - Marcus Davis vs Melvin Guillard
Welterweights - Josh Burkman vs Sammy Morgan

“Last season for the finale we created a show, where, if you missed some of the season, we recapped it for you and told you what was going on,” said UFC President Dana White. “This year, it’s going to be completely different. This year, the finale is going to be a pure fight show, and we’re doing it just like we do Ultimate Fight Night live or any of our pay-per-views. If some of the fights end quickly, then we’ll start adding in fights from earlier in the night. So hopefully, if everything goes the right way, everybody should be able to see almost every card on the fight that night.”

The show will air live on Spike TV from The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, beginning at 9pm EST. For more of UFC President Dana White’s thoughts on the upcoming card, visit www.ufc.tv on Friday morning for the inaugural installment of “From The President’s Desk”.
